Travel is easy and accessible in the Okanagan. The Kelowna International Airport provides non-stop service to Calgary, Edmonton, Las Vegas, Prince George, Seattle, Toronto, Vancouver and Victoria on five air carriers. Highway 97 makes travel by bus and car convenient for all travellers.
Tourism is a major economic driver in the region, producing over $390 million in direct economic output and generating almost 10,000 jobs.
